Flowfuse gets your own workflow projects started. It provides base components for workflow applications, such as a workflow engine, work item manager, a web-based UI. The sample application and tutorials will show you how to use and extend these components.
The project is currently in development status. There is only a Getting Started guide for developers available.
I've updated the build process to Maven 2 and XDoclet 2. As a result
of this, it will be possible to use Jetty 6 as development container.
This makes development life much easiert. Read more about that in
Developing with Jetty: Where Have You Been All My Life?.
Btw: The Maken 1.x build won't work anymore, as XDoclet 2's hibernate
tag names have changed.
Flowfuse now supports references to Spring beans in the workflow definition file. You can define your conditions, functions, and validators as Spring beans - and take advantage of spring features like easier unit testing, AOP proxies, SOAP support. Read more...
Flowfuse has bee approved on Java.net. You can now directly check it out from CVS (see CVS instructions).
Until the Java.net project has been approved, we provide you with the Development Release 0.1. Enjoy!
